Environment v/s Economy

 This blog will give you a glimpse of Environmental degradation and role of economy in it.If  we observe carefully any type of Environmental degradation including violence on animal we  can link it with sometype of economic gain. For example when some animals come in agricultural field ( which erstwhile area of forest which animals used to wander in it) people try to threaten the animal to move away them from field or sometime even kill them using cruel method like poisoning, electrification, and sometimes serving them firecrackers as one event happened in Kerala where some people served fruit filled with firecrackers to an innocent pregnant elephant who was wandering in human locality in search of food. Why people would do this I think as agriculture is means of income and which make stronger economy of land holder and by destroying agriculture field animals destroys means of income and thereby weaken the Economy 

    Let's take another example when we set up industry or factory we clear the land by cutting the trees and destroying the habitat of animals and also pollute environment through polluted water and air coming out from those factories but still we priorities construction of factories as they will provide employment, income to labourer and also to govt in the form of taxes and strengthen the Economy.

 Again people (poachers) kill animals and also cut trees as they fetch some value in market and by selling them in market people earn some money.and by this way strengthen their Economy.

If we take wide view of the topic i.e. How Economy affect the Environment like country wise then we can say that poor that are known as developing nation's are more nature friendly  and have abundant amount of natural / environmental richness . Like African countries where we can see diverse and large amount of animals and birds and trees.and on the other hand are the developed countries which are artificially beautiful means have large Economy and world's best cities and large amounts of industrial areas but have less amount of environmental richness. But today the situation is changing and developed countries are focusing on environmental protection but they have made economy such important globally that developing nation's are destroying nature for strengthening Economy. Which is not good. Because   " Money is part of the Environment ,we can make money from Environment  (trees--> paper--> money) but not environment from Money".   We have to think about it and priorities Environment than Economy as Economy is means of short term survival and Environment is means of long term survival. 

 Yes I also know that in present senario that is in present time both Economy as well as Environment are of more or less same importance then what can we do ? We can choose middle path which can balance both of them. The middle path can be Sustainable Development methods which focusses on proper development at the same time secure /prevent environment for the next generation.

   So it is time to take right decision to secure Environment and thereby secure our FUTURE.
